Dear HISD Community,

As you know, the State of Texas requires all Texas school district campuses to hold several different safety drills, including fire drills, inclement weather drills, and lockdown drills.

Each month, these drills take place at differing times.

I just wanted to remind you of our efforts to comply with Texas law, but more importantly, to work together to always keep our students and staff safe at school.
