Good evening, Wildcat Community!

I am thrilled to introduce you to our new Athletic Director, Coach Eric Droddy! Coach Droddy comes to us with 25 years of coaching experience, including 9 years in athletic administration as both Athletic Director and Head Football Coach. His track record includes leading teams to playoff berths at Queen City and Trinity, and we are excited to see how his leadership will help elevate our athletic programs here in Harleton ISD.

Joining him in this new chapter are his wonderful family: his wife of 30 years, Lisa, and their sophomore daughter, Teagan. The Droddy family is already embracing the proud athletic and academic traditions that define our community. Lisa has a wealth of experience as a former high school and junior high cheer coach, having led her teams to silver and bronze medals at the UIL State Spirit competitions.

The Droddy family is truly a coaching family! They are proud parents of five amazing children, each following their own unique paths. Easton, 28, and his wife Madison, are expecting their first child this coming April. Easton coaches at New Waverly, while Madison is the camp director at Camp Olympia in Trinity. Parker, also 28, resides in The Woodlands, where he coaches at Oak Ridge High School, and his wife Leah is an accomplished nurse in the area.

Their eldest daughter, Jaiden, 24, is making an impact as the head cheer coach at Hays High School south of Austin, and she's set to marry her fiancé, an ETBU graduate, on April 25th in Tyler. Kieran, 22, continues the family legacy as a full-time dog trainer at Mill Pond Kennels in Lafayette, LA, where his girlfriend shines as the starting shortstop at UL. Last but certainly not least, Teagan is already making her mark as a sophomore, participating in school and all-star cheer and playing both basketball and softball.
