Dear Parents and HISD Community,

We have been watching weather outlets all week, and as you have witnessed on your own weather apps and news stations, hardly any aspects of the forecast will stabilize.

This afternoon at 2:30, the NOAA and the National Weather Service gave a webinar that did not match what weather apps are showing, as NOAA projected potentially worse conditions, starting as early as 6:00 am tomorrow morning.

Even though NOAA and the National Weather Service did not have any exact information, out of an abundance of caution, we are going to cancel for Thursday and Friday.

The safety of your children is our top priority!
