Does homework become an after school daily battle? Here are some simple ways to help your child.
1.
Make it a daily
routine.
a.
Don’t take the excuse that
I don’t have any homework. Make homework
a part of the after school routine. Give your child some down time after school
then have a set time that they know is homework time. Go over spelling words, math facts, science
vocabulary, if your child says they have no homework that day.
b.
Be a part of that
routine. If you are cooking, have them

a.
Every class grades 1-5 have either a planner
or an assignment sheet that they fill out daily.
b.
Sign the planner and write
